Top 15 of 2015

2015 has been a big year for me as a photographer, probably the biggest year yet in my photography career. This year I finally became confident in my work as a photographer, which for any artist of any format, is always a huge step. I'm not going to bore you with some big long post, I'm just going to dive right into what you came here to see, my Top 15 photos of 2015.

I'll admit, this was a lot harder to make then I thought it was going to be, I started off with 33 photos I knew I wanted to be in this post. Going from 33 to 15 wasn't easy, but eventually I was able to narrow it down. The following 15 photos are in no order, it was hard enough just deciding these 15 to share.

Country artist Chris Janson opening up for Toby Keith on the first night of his 'Good Times & Pick Up Lines' tour this summer in Mountain View, CA.

Photo from a wedding outside of Nashville, TN.

I had the opportunity this year to photograph for Lynyrd Skynyrd when they played in Nashville, TN.

Garrett Perales, guitarist for Jacob Whitesides, getting ready to hit the stage as the sun sets behind him at the Carl Black Chevy Woods Amphitheater outside of Nashville, TN.

Rock legend Steven Tyler before his set at the inaugural Pilgrimage Music Festival in Franklin, TN.

The flower girl needed a mid-ceremony break. Taken at a wedding in Murfreesboro, TN.

Sometimes you have to wake up at 4:30 AM to go photograph Tim McGraw on Good Morning America.

Brian Kelley, 1/2 of country duo Florida Georgia Line.

Dave Welsh of The Fray taking the stage at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN.

Eric Gunderson, 1/2 of country duo Love and Theft playing in Clarksville, TN.

Model Hannah Grabowski posing in a dress designed Calle Evans, shot in Cincinnati, OH.

Jacob Whitesides walking off of his tour bus backstage at the Carl Black Chevy Woods Amphitheater outside of Nashville, TN. Jacob is an incredible and talented artist, I suggest you take a listen to his two EPs out on Itunes.

Bear Rinehart of NEEDTOBREATHE rocking out during their 'Tour de Compadres' tour in Nashville, TN.

Tim Foreman of Switchfoot caught midair.

This image sums up country music fans in just one photo; taken outside of the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA.

2015 was a great year of photographing, there were a lot of photos that could have been in this post, but I wanted to keep it at 15. I'm already looking forward to 2016 and what awaits, and who knows, maybe in 2016 I'll finally get a photo featured in Rolling Stone Magazine!
