'I couldn't wait for the summer and the Warped Tour'

As most of you know, I spent this summer out on the Vans Warped Tour working for a band called Pepper from Kona, Hawaii. Pepper is a reggae-rock band that has been around for 19 years. I'm not going to make this a long worded post, mainly because I suck at writing and would rather just show you a collection of photos from this summer. I'll include little descriptions with some of the photos.

There's A LOT of photos, but please take the minute to view them all! (It took me 4 hours to make this) For the most part, I'm going to try to stick with putting them in chronological order. Enjoy!

Most photos are taken with my Canon 5D Mark iii, but there are a few iPhone photos too.

Yessod Williams, drummer for Pepper.

San Antonio, Texas.

Zac Barnett, lead singer for American Authors.

Chris Demakes of Less Than Jake.

Crazy late night thunderstorm in New Orleans, I will never understand how I didn't get struck by lighting trying to get this shot.

Jenna McDougall, lead singer of Tonight Alive from Sydney, Australia.

Kevin Lyman, pictured above, is the founder and producer of Warped Tour. When we were in St. Petersburg, Florida he took Pepper and I out fishing in the Gulf of Mexico for 8 hours. We went about 20 miles out, and caught a lot of fish.

Kaleo Wassman, guitarest for Pepper.

Sunset in Orlando, Florida.

Rainy day in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Sublime with Rome was playing in the same city (Charlotte, NC) as Warped Tour, so a few of us hopped over to their show, of course I brought my camera and shot some photos for them.

iPhone photo from our off day on July 4th in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Kellin Quinn, lead singer for Sleeping With Sirens listening to the crowd scream.

Brett Bollinger, bassist for Pepper.

Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York, one of my favorite amphitheaters. The climb to the top is worth the view of the amphitheater and ocean.

How the Warped Tour crew takes a nap during the day.

Kaleo having a talk with Kenny, the stage manager for our stage.

Went tubing down a river and camping with Sleeping With Sirens during an off day from tour.

Lisa Brownlee, Tour Manager for Warped Tour. When she's not tour managing Warped Tour she's tour manager for Sleeping With Sirens.

When you cant find drum sticks, use wiffle ball bats.

No actual gambling was taking place during this, I think.

Thanks for looking at all of the photos! Warped Tour was a blast this summer! Getting to watch some of my favorite bands like Yellowcard and New Found Glory, and the bands I fell in love with like Sleeping With Sirens and Tonight Alive, everyday was amazing. Warped Tour can be summed up as "punk-rock summer camp". I defiantly see myself spending another summer out on Warped Tour in the future!
